Asus AC87U from Sky Hub - Disappointing wireless range.

I bought a AC87U and installed the Merlin firmware so I could use it on my Sky fibre connection (after extracting my username/password via Wireshark) because my sky hub would lose its connection on a daily basis. Even though the router said it was still connected, I could not ping anything externally and my ‘Fing’ app said I wasn’t connected. Sky sent me a new hub and said the line had no faults. The new hub made no difference.


I didn’t replace the SR102 Sky Hub especially to improve...
