My main modem/router is a DSL AC68u. For awhile now (long enough that I don't remember how i configured it) I've had my RT AC87u hooked up as an access point, providing wifi as well as a wired connection for 2 pcs.
However my modem recently died and while I'm waiting for the warranty I hooked up a TPLink TD-w8961N. The TPLink works fine, however my 87u not so much. I factory reset it, set it in AP mode, and gave it the same static ip as before, on the TPLink. However the PCs connected...
