TM-AC1950 disconnects

Hi

I have a TM-AC1950 which I use to connect with a PC & the AC-1950 works great; except it disconnects many times a day. Rebooting reconnects every time, could the wifi card be obsolete or the settings for the card or the router be configured wrong..?
