Adding AP to Media Bridge to extend coverage

Is it bad practice to add an Access Point to a Media Bridge to extend wireless coverage? Would this work technically?

My current setup is one main Router (AC68U) wirelessly connected to one Media Bridge(AC66U). I am thinking of adding an older spare AP (N66U) to the Media Bridge LAN port (to extend wireless coverage on that side of the house).
