Start poking around with my router/access points today. I just was not happy with the speeds and connectivity.
I started by splitting up all the wireless signals, renaming to separate SSID.
I connected to each and did a speed test.
the two access point have the same settings, just different IP addresses.
192.168.1.13 and 192. 168.1.17
So, while the .13 is farther away, it maximized the bandwidth of my internet at 150 mbps down, the other access point did not. It peeked out at 30 mbps....
