Asus DSL-AC68U port forwarding not working

Hi there,

I have recently bought a new Asus DSL-AC68U modem router. When I proceed to canyousee me to check port forwarding after setup, it shows "connection times out".

1. MAC address of my pc has been assigned with a static ip, 192.168.1.xxx in DHCP
2. restart the computer
3. set specific port (protocol: both) to 192.168.1.xxx on port forwarding page in router
4. save the setup
5. test port using canyouseeme, failure
6. allow inbound connection through windows firewall: create inbound...
